To earn a good living as a full-time diving professional, you must be capable of repairing and overhauling diving equipment. Proper training and expeirence in correct procedures must be taught and understand. So to learn another trade is just as important as taking another instructor speciality. So whether it is a store school, resort or your own training business, a working knowledge of overhauling and repairing equipment is an asset to today’s career-minded professional.
In our scuba equipment repair training program, we troubleshoot, clean and reassemble many brands of equipment. I service dozens of different regulators and scuba tank valves. Just some include buoyancy compensator, regulators, valves, dive cylinders. I can also educate and demonstrate proper use and opertations of the following dive system equipment breathing air compressors, change filters, repair of compressor system valves, and efficiently operate an air station.
